STEM Outreach

A key part of the society is our STEM Outreach project, which aims to inspire and involve young people and school students in space. In the past our projects have ranged from our ‘Rocket in a Box’ classroom learning pack to events at the national level such as the Nottingham Festival of Science and Curiosity.

This year we are looking to continue our STEM Outreach with more schools and groups, so if you are interested in working with us at any level, please get in touch via the contact form or by emailing us at  .

"It’s exciting for the pupils to have someone outside the school come in and show them something new."

Rocket in a Box

Rocket in a Box is our nationally recognised STEM outreach programme that encourages students to get engaged with STEM and aeronautics through a paper rocket building and launching exercise.
